The Council of State Presidents consists of the current and immediate Past President, Vice Presidents, Senior Vice President, or expected next President of each society.
This council is an advisory group and hosts the annual society and chapter Presidents’ seminar held during the Spring Leadership Meeting. The main meeting of the council is held during the annual SAR Congress. The council is also responsible for selecting four members of the National Nominating Committee from its membership of active state-level society Presidents.
The council chairman is the President of the host society for the previous annual SAR Congress. The Secretary-Treasurer is elected annually by the council at the SAR Congress meeting.
