The facade restoration project has officially kicked off! Bright and early on October 26th, 2020 the work crew began the project. Executive Director Don Shaw snapped a few pictures to help document the progress.
Background: After receiving overwhelming approval from the Board of Trustees, the National Society has begun the process of replacing the façade of the Headquarters and Genealogical Library. This project will not only upgrade the aesthetics of the façade but will provide additional security to our building by replacing and strengthening deteriorating millwork and upgrading the large plate glass windows with security glass.
