Common Questions About SAR

Leadership Meeting Info

The registration for the upcoming Leadership Meeting (either the Spring or the Fall) will be posted on the SAR website at minimum 30 days prior to the meeting.


Typically the Spring Leadership Meeting is held the last week in February or the first week in March.  

The Fall Leadership Meeting is typically held the last week in September.

For exact dates check the Events system and look for upcoming Leadership Meeting.

The various committees of the National Society have an opportunity to meet and conduct committee business.

The Board of Trustees of the organization also meet to conduct the business of the National Society.

A basic schedule can be found on the First Time Attendees page.

The Leadership Meetings are held in Louisville, Kentucky at the famous Brown Hotel.  

The committees and Board of Trustees meeting are held at the Brown Hotel.  There may be one or two meetings held at the National Headquarters.

The First Time Attendees Tour is at the National Headquarters.

The Hilton Garden Inn, located at 3rd and West Chestnut Streets is right around the corner from the Brown Hotel.

In the future, we suggest you reserve your room at the Brown Hotel in advance for the next meeting when you arrive for the current meeting.  You can always cancel the reserved room if you are unable to attend.

The meeting schedule is typically posted on the Leadership website 2-3 weeks prior to the meetings. 

Check back often and check the publication date as the schedule is subject to changes.

A basic dress code can be found on the First Time Attendees page.

This will reflect any special events that may be scheduled also.

The due date for the reports can be found in the registration information or on the Leadership Meeting information page.
