National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution requires payment to accompany any request for NSSAR professional genealogical assistance. Such requests can be initiated here. The rate for professional genealogy assistance is currently $35 per hour for non-members and $30 per hour for members.
State SAR Societies have genealogical helpers who assist potential members with application preparation. The list of volunteer genealogy assistants are found at this page.
